THE fire started with a match held under a cotton blanket close to the man's waist. Within 2 minutes, the flames had spread across the single bed he was lying on and were consuming his cotton sweatshirt and trousers. Around a dozen onlookers were at the scene - including police, fire investigators and death investigators - yet all they did was watch. That was, after all, their job. The "victim" had in fact died some time ago, having previously donated his remains to medical research.
His body had reached a unique team led by Elayne Pope, a forensic scientist at the University of West Florida in Pensacola. Her group spends its time setting fire to corpses in a range of different circumstances, to work out exactly how the human body burns. They seem to be the only...
Recently several articles appeared on The Supernatural World making certain allegations against Medium Simon Peters (aka. Adrian Wood). Recent information has come to light which not only casts doubt on the veracity of said allegations, it proves that information published on this site was both innacurate and misleading.
I can confirm that Mr Wood has at no time received an official Police warning as was published on The Supernatural World.
Regarding claims that Mr Wood was in debt to the tune of £20,000, these claims are also false and very misleading.
As partner of this site I cannot condone misinformation and with that in mind all subsequent allegations have been removed to protect both the integrity of the site and Mr Wood.
As if Downtown renewal wasn't enough of a horror story, now some say ghosts have taken over the doomed Santa Rita Hotel. As owner Humberto Lopez prepares to sell the beleaguered, graffiti-tagged property to Tucson Electric Power, which plans to have the building demolished, the possible current spiritual tenants may be doing a little spooky protesting. On April 12, police responded to a call from hotel security reporting potentially ghostly happenings. The guard heard footsteps coming from the fourth floor, but police searched the hotel room by room and found nothing. A week later, a guard reported that a light on the fourth floor came on, and it sounded like someone was moving around in the room. Police checked the room and adjacent floors and found no one.
Scientists have unveiled a 47-million-year-old fossilised skeleton of a monkey hailed as the missing link in human evolution. The search for a direct connection between humans and the rest of the animal kingdom has taken 200 years - but it was presented to the world today at a special news conference in New York. The discovery of the 95%-complete 'lemur monkey' - dubbed Ida - is described by experts as the "eighth wonder of the world". They say its impact on the world of palaeontology will be "somewhat like an asteroid falling down to Earth".
Researchers say proof of this transitional species finally confirms Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, and the then radical, outlandish ideas he came up with during his time aboard the Beagle. Sir David...
The famed wildlife artist, 3D computer graphics professional, exhibition creator, digital character lip sync animation software inventor, and cinema special effects designer Bill Munns is shown with his museum-quality, academically-acclaimed reconstruction of Gigantopithecus. In one of the most anticipated talks of the Yakima Bigfoot Round-Up, Bill Munns stepped forward to speak at 7:00 PM Pacific time to give his initial insights into his research on the Patterson-Gimlin footage of an alleged Sasquatch.
Before Munns left for the weekend conference, he sent me his research links, and granted permission for Cryptomundo to post concurrently as he delivered his presentation. Munns emailed the following message earlier in the week, but asked for it to be held until his talk:
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. - Ecclesiastes 12:6-7
One Bible reference suggests that the above Old Testament passage be interpreted by taking the "silver cord" to mean the marrow of the backbone, the "golden bowl" to mean the membrane that covers the brain, the "pitcher" to mean the veins of the body, the "fountain" to mean the liver, the "wheel" to mean the head, and the "cistern" to mean the heart out of which the head draws the power of life.
In what many consider to be one of the most intriguing and paramount cases in the paranormal, many speculations and theories arose in the paranormal community (and the outside) about what really happened in that old and small Culver City home in southern California in the early 1970s. No one knows what really happened to Doris Bither or any of her children. Did they finally escape the evil that was so present and dominate in their home? Did they come out and tell the truth and admit it was all a hoax?
We here at GhostTheory.com, having a journalistic approach to the paranormal, were lucky enough to get ahold of Brian Harris, Doris Bither’s son, to set the record straight. In this interview, I get to the bottom of the case and give you an insight to the true day-to-day life of...
It is rumored that with Phoenix III at Montauk, that government scientists were able to create a time tunnel of sorts and to make sure that the time tunnel worked, drunks and derelicts were collected and thrown into the time tunnel. They made sure the drunks and derelicts were sober for a week, before entering the tunnel, if they were to survive and come back, they were questioned by government officials. The story goes, many didn't make it back and they are still floating in the midst of time. The few that did make it back, their stories were retrieved and later they died by mysterious circumstances.
The government selected drunks and derelicts, because they would not be missed by friends or family members. Below this article you will find my comments on the 2nd Montauk...
Interview with Angela McGhee 'A real life Psychic Detective'
Interview with Angela McGhee 'A real life Psychic Detective'
Monday, 18 May 2009
I have been expressing psychic ablitites since early childhood. which I denied and hid away at times as I tried to make sense of it all. I was regarded as a highly senstive child. who had so called 'imagnary friends,' those children of the spirit world who I would often play with. I would experience very prophetic dreams and premonitions and the events of such would unfold shorlty after. I was good at finding things too. I knew something really special was happening to me on the night my grandmother passed over and appeared to me late, that same evening convincing me that there was an afterlife, a heaven. I was just 10 years old.The word psychic and medium was not around me. I alikened my experiences to the biblical stories I'd heard.
For decades the scientists of our world have rejected and ridiculed claims of psychic phenomena and the UFO/ET presence, often characterizing the researchers in these areas as "pseudoscientists". This ridicule has very effectively suppressed research into the fundamental nature of consciousness and reality, and the facts of life in the Universe. Is it possible that knowledge of these matters is vital not only to our well-being, but the survival of our civilization in the coming years and decades?
We already know from Remote Viewing (RV) and Random Event Generator (REG) experiments, and decades of other research into psychic phenomena, that human consciousness transcends what we experience as space and time, and can directly affect what we experience as physical...
